Diamond Query: Looking for an Oval Shape, Close to 2 Carats that Will Look Good in a Rose Gold Halo Setting

| Anonymous Reader

Hi Sebastian,

I’m so happy I came across your website with so much great advice. I was hoping you could help me choose a diamond from the links below or something comparable. I look forward to hearing from you. Here are the details and links:

Budget: $13,200 (ring and setting)

I’m looking for an oval shape, close to 2 carats that will look good in a rose gold halo setting. Inclusions are ok if they aren’t noticeable and more sparkle is preferred (of course).

Diamond 1:

2.01 CARAT I-VVS2 OVAL CUT DIAMOND

2.01 CARAT I-VVS2 OVAL CUT DIAMOND

Diamond 2:

2.00 CARAT J-SI1 OVAL CUT DIAMOND

2.00 CARAT J-SI1 OVAL CUT DIAMOND

Diamond 3:

2.01 CARAT J-SI1 OVAL CUT DIAMOND

2.01 CARAT J-SI1 OVAL CUT DIAMOND

Diamond 4:

2.01 CARAT J-SI1 OVAL CUT DIAMOND 2

2.01 CARAT J-SI1 OVAL CUT DIAMOND

Setting:

14K ROSE GOLD PAVE HALO DIAMOND ENGAGEMENT RING (OVAL CENTER)

14K ROSE GOLD PAVE HALO DIAMOND ENGAGEMENT RING (OVAL CENTER)

Thank you!

Thank you for your inquiry. I am happy to help!

Out of the four diamonds you selected below. My favorite is the 2.01ct, I VVS2. The reason being, it has no bowtie effect and the overall shape and faceting pattern is aesthetically very pleasing. It will offer the best sparkle and will be beautifully showcased in the ring you selected.

2.01 CARAT I-VVS2 OVAL CUT DIAMOND

2.01 CARAT I-VVS2 OVAL CUT DIAMOND
