Diamond Query: Choosing the Best 1-Carat Excellent Cut Round Diamond Under $12,000 from James Allen

Hi Sebastian, I’m deciding between the following 3 diamonds from James Allen. Please have a look at the diamonds I listed below:

I would like to get the biggest bang for the buck and I’m looking for VVS2 or better for clarity and Colour G or better, with size around 1 carat. My budget is around 12k or less with the ring setting included. Thanks, I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Thank you for your inquiry. I am happy to help. The three diamonds you selected from JamesAllen.com are all excellent. If I lined them all up in front of you, in person, you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between them!

So, with that being said, I would select the one that you like the best. Instinctually, is there one that jumps out at you more? Truth be told, I would pick the one that is the best price!

You absolutely cannot go wrong with any of these diamonds. They are at the high end for color and clarity. And their proportions/angles are excellent.

Thanks Sebastian, I really appreciate it, the one that stand out to be more is the one at 1.07 carat, however that one is no longer available. I looked around a bit more and found these 2 diamonds. How are these 2 diamonds’ proportions and angles compared to the ones I mentioned previously?

Hi, I have reviewed the two new diamonds you selected from JamesAllen.com. Again, it is the same story, you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between them if I had them in front of you.

If I had to choose, however, I would select diamond sku 3682537. The pavilion angle is perfect. And this is one of the most crucial angles for optimal light reflection.
