Thank you for your webpage, it’s so useful. Would like your opinion regarding a diamond we are considering buying – is there anyway you can check if it’s eye clean?
GIA certificate number = 2267991513
Any help would be appreciated!

Thank you for your inquiry. I am happy to help. My apologies for my delayed response.
My guess is that it will most likely be eye-clean. The only inclusion in question is the crystal inclusion. But you won’t know unless you see the diamond. Is this diamond from an online retailer? Do you have a link I could look at? |

Hi Sebastian,
Thanks so so much for your reply. It’s not from an online retailer but I have a few pictures of it.. Many thanks for any help you can provide.

Oh, so, you have seen this diamond in person? It looks eye-clean from the photos you provided. Does the retailer say it is eye-clean? |

Yes the retailer said it is eye clean – should I go with it?

Oh good. What is the price? |

The price is 9602 dollars. Alternatively I can get an E colour 1.4ct (GIA number 6282093142) for 10,261 dollars
Which one would you recommend? Both supposedly eye clean. By the way it is very kind of you to help a complete stranger!

Definitely stick with the F, SI1. You will not see the difference between an E and F color. And the SI1 and VS2 will both be eye-clean.
In addition the diamonds are basically the same size, if you compare their millimeter measurements. It is my pleasure helping you! |

Thanks so much.
There are not many people out there that would help someone so seriously I can’t express how much I appreciate it! I was never even expecting a reply to be honest so thanks 🙂
